Greetings family and friends!
Although this is technically Day 2, some of us were not gifted with the ability to sleep on planes and as such we make no distinction between days. We landed in Buenos Aires on time and were greeted by Camilla, the St. Andres Missionary Coordinator, and baby Santiago, who is surprisingly adept at pounding fists in his infancy.
We made our way to a fantastic restaurant, La Bistecca, where most of us were introduced to Argentine cuisine. Some of us were brave enough to try Morcilla, more commonly known as Blood Sausage in the English-speaking world. Funny texture, serious taste. We were told of the quality of Argentine beef and it did not disappoint.
Following lunch, we walked down the water way and took in the architecture of Puerto Madero. Many commented on the almost Parisian look to this part of the city. See pictures below!
